GTA VI editions: Standard vs Ultimate

What the GTA VI Ultimate Edition adds for $20 more, and the Vintage Vice City Pack that comes with every pre-order.

GTA VI launches November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, in two editions: Standard and Ultimate. Every pre-order also gets a bonus, the Vintage Vice City Pack.

The price

In the US, Take-Two prices the Standard Edition at $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition at $99.99. Already bought Standard? The Ultimate content is sold later as an upgrade. Boxed copies hold a download code instead of a disc.

What the Ultimate Edition adds

Rockstar describes the Ultimate Edition as an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel and action, threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story, with new items uncovered behind each chapter.

• ’95 Grotti Cheetah: Grotti’s signature mid-’90s sports car, an ode to Shore Drive.
• ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy: an off-road Mud Club monster for the backwoods of Mount Kalaga, with the Paradise Garage in Watson Bay. The garage has a weapon locker and a secure place to deposit stolen goods to be fenced.
• Shitzu Squalo: a pink and blue boat docked at Washington Beach, with an explosives-laden weapons crate.
• Jason’s safehouse vehicles: a Dinka Enduro motorcycle and a Crest Kayak, plus a Retro Build of mods for Jason’s Vapid Ganado pickup.
• Two mod shops: Rideout Customs, for detailed interiors, rims and donk stylings, and One-Eyed Willie’s in Lake Leonida, for off-road mods and hand-painted art.
• Classic Car Collection: track down abandoned classics and project cars and restore them for Wyman, an eccentric collector and local fixer. Four of the cars are Ultimate-only.
• Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers: his and hers revolvers from the Vercetti Estate, with palm-tree-etched grips. Jason’s Girardi ES9 and Lucia’s Klose K17 pistols also get engraved versions.
• Looks: Vice City Style outfits, Electric Fang Tattoo with over 50 tattoos designed by the artist collective FAILE, Sara’s Unisex Salon, the Stock 305 streetwear store, and Goodtime Gear, a capsule collection inspired by Macca the Gator.
• PTT Youngin$ Illegal Goods Store: raid the compound of one of Southside Vice City’s loudest gangs for special items and contraband.

Rockstar says the two mod shops, the salon, the tattoo parlor and Stock 305 are only open for business with the Ultimate Edition.

Every pre-order: the Vintage Vice City Pack

Whichever edition you pick, a pre-order includes the Vintage Vice City Pack. On digital, it comes with pre-orders placed before November 20.

• ’55 Vapid Stanier: a classic sedan for cruising Shore Drive, with the Shore Court garage near Ocean Beach. It has a weapon locker and a secure spot for stolen goods to be fenced.
• Jason’s look: a linen suit in vintage pastel.
• Lucia’s look: a red sequin mini dress and curls.
• Weapon pattern: a tropical pattern for most guns, inspired by Tommy Vercetti’s palm tree button-up.

Rockstar also lists a free month of GTA+ as a pre-order bonus: GTA$500,000 a month for your GTA Online character, Shark Cards with 15% bonus GTA$, free and discounted GTA Online vehicles, and the GTA+ Games Library.
