GTA VI cheats: what we know before launch

Does GTA VI have cheat codes? Rockstar has not said yet. This page gets every confirmed GTA VI cheat as soon as the game is out on November 19.

Does GTA VI have cheats?

Rockstar has not said whether GTA VI has cheat codes. Its site, its support pages and its trailers don’t mention them so far. We will know for sure when the game comes out on November 19, 2026.

When do we get the codes?

As soon as GTA VI is out, we add every cheat we can confirm here, with the button combination for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. A cheat that only works on one platform gets a note. This is the page we update first, so it’s worth a bookmark.

How cheats worked in GTA V

Cheat codes have been part of Grand Theft Auto since the first game. In GTA V you entered them as a button combination on the controller, or by dialling a number on the in-game phone. Using a cheat turned off trophies and achievements for that play session. Whether GTA VI works the same way is not known yet.

Watch out for fake codes

Lists of “GTA 6 cheats” already go around. Until the game is out, nobody can check them in the released game, so we don’t list any. Every code on this page will come with its source.
