Insider NateTheHate says Rockstar has started sending GTA VI review code to the media, with a review embargo on November 18. Rockstar and Take-Two have not confirmed it.
GTA VI reviews could arrive just one day before the game does. This is a rumor: it comes from one insider, and neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has confirmed it.
The claim
On October 26, insider NateTheHate posted on X that Rockstar has started sending review code to the media. His claim is that the review embargo lifts on November 18.
Earlier, he had said the codes weren’t out yet. Rockstar and Take-Two haven’t confirmed the new claim, and no outlet has said it has a copy.
What it would mean
If he’s right, there would be 24 hours of reviews before anyone can play the game.
What is confirmed
Pre-load opens November 12, and GTA VI launches November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Another unconfirmed claim about review copies followed a day later: writer ManaByte posted that review copies are watermarked with the reviewer’s name.
This story gets an update, with a date, when Rockstar, Take-Two or the outlets themselves say something about review copies.
GTA VI launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-load opens November 12.
